Looking down (#32 in series: Taku Glacier’s huge snout)

 

 

(aka “terminal face”, “terminus”, “foot”)

As at 24 May 2015…

..I am sure that a 2026 visitor – aloft, in the very same spot – would look down at a narrower snout, further upstream, with a still-enormous but rapidly-diminishing ice-mass behind it.
