Morocco & Andalucia: “characteristic” (#1 in teaser series)

We have just spent the second half of October in Morocco, and the first part of November in southern Spain.

This little single-image series highlights key aspects of those places.

We had expected/already knew of some of them.

Others surprised us.

This post’s photo covers both categories.

We already knew that Morocco is incredibly rich in distinctive, oft-beautiful doors.

(although we had no idea just how eloquently they can “speak” – a subject Pelican Yoga will address, eventually)

However, we had no idea that Morocco has so many cats; it may well be the most “catty” nation!

(Morocco’s cats will also receive further attention, as will the nation’s dogs)

I took the photo on the morning of 28 October in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famously “blue” city
