Dear all…subscribers especially.
My blog’s notification service appears to have “died”.
As is the way with things-Wordpress, none of the alleged “fixes” in fact work, nor do their alleged relevant mechanisms and menus resemble the versions alleged by the typically-useless “help”/advice offered.
And, of course, the “always available” WordPress telephone advice service is in fact never available – one just gets shunted into the zone of bot-uselessness.
So, please be advised that I am continuing to publish a new post on at least most days, but you probably won’t receive an email alert.🔔
We think the subscriber list may have been destroyed.
My beloved (who was subscribed) has just subscribed again, this morning – as if she were a “new” subscriber, and I did receive a notification that she had done so. (That was the first email “notification” of any “Pelican Yoga” kind to reach me in last couple of days)
So, it might be worth following her example! We are far from a capital city for the next little while, so I cannot now do anything else to fix the problem.
