“Old city”, Lahore (#29 in series: close views, summer palace)

Both of the pictured decorations have been restored, recently.

Nothing more needs to be said.

The next chapter’s location is also within Lahore Fort, but in the open air, upstairs from the summer palace.

12 May 2024 was literally,“the day after the storm” – one that had “cleaned” Lahore’s air, or at least relocated/dispersed the usual smog-shroud.

(on a bad day, Lahore’s air can be the most polluted of any city’s, anywhere)

That day’s afternoon light was uncommonly clear…and very intense.
