Port River (#7 in series: Port power)

The southern edge of the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary National Park is surprisingly close to Port Adelaide’s actual port, power station and industrial zone.

Some birds, of course, thrive in places/zones that will never become national parks.

“Shags” (cormorants) and “feathered rats” (silver gulls) may not be urbane, but they are well-adapted to urban existence.
