Namib Desert’s northwest (#26 in series: “sorted” sands, sliding)

Umpteen times, during our several hours spent in and around the lower reaches of the Hoarusib River, I was amazed and awestruck.

No “elephant stamp” would or should  be awarded to anybody who correctly surmised that each and every photograph within this series was taken in a desert.

However, if they were all “unlabelled”, anyone scanning them would surely assume – very reasonably – that they must have been taken in at least several different deserts, rather than all within a very small section of one desert.
