“Red-tails in suburbia” (#15 in series)

 

 

“Feeding time” is not the only time that a red-tail’s flexibility and dexterity are spectacularly evident.

This female Forest red-tailed black cockatoo was one of not a few red-tails who were enjoying a bit of late-afternoon browsing – and a lot of socialising – in Shenton Park Bushland, en route to a favourite “roost”, nearby.
