‘Roos, enjoying winter grass (1 of 2)

In South Australia’s Deep Creek Conservation Park, those who hire Goondooloo Cottage  can expect to see Western grey kangaroos, just outside the walls and windows.

This is especially likely in the first and final hours of daylight.

Later this year Pelican Yoga will “explore”:various aspects of the surprisingly under-celebrated “bottom” of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

It is within easy day-tripping distance of Adelaide, but Deep Creek Conservation Park is much better-enjoyed more immersively…over several days.

This post’s photos and those in its sequel were taken immediately after our breakfast, on a very chilly winter morning.

The relevant ‘roos are wild animals, in no sense “tame”; they are, however, only moderately wary of humans, nearby.
