West Beach, Fitzgerald River National Park (4 of 10)

 

If you stood just a little above West Beach’s high tide line, facing the Southern Ocean, and you then turned around 180 degrees to look at the slope behind the beach…

…at 2.07 pm on September 20, 2021, your eyes would have been seeing what my camera did at that moment.

The next several posts’ images – all taken within not very many footsteps of each other (and of where my feet were when I took this post’s image) – will give you some idea of just how extraordinary/extraordinarily diverse are the rocks on West Beach.
