Last night its author Patrick Radden Keefe spoke at length to Australia’s national broadcaster.

 

The interview with Phillip Adams is not merely a radio version of Keefe’s essay “The Family That Built an Empire of Pain”.

Essay and interview are equally rewarding…and startling.

It does not really matter whether you read first or listen first; you should do both.
